Driving into Morrisville, Pennsylvania in 1938
It's 1938, we just crossed over the Delaware River from New Jersey into Pennsylvania, and we're in Morrisville. Looks like a nice little town, let's look around.

This imaginary journey is based on an image that I just found on the Duke University website ROAD (Resource of Outdoor Advertising Descriptions). Their interest is in the billboards, but I just want to time-travel. Come on!
We're on East Bridge Street just past Delmorr Avenue going west. We could have stopped to get some Aristocrat Ice Cream, or to look around the State Store, but I'm in too much of a hurry. What? Beer? No, not now. Why? Because I'm driving, that's why! Maybe we could stop at the restaurant there. I could go for a hamburger and a cup of coffee.
I've already gone past the Sunoco station, maybe we can get some gas at the Esso up there. Why yes, I use Sunoco oil to keep my motor knockless, if you can't trust Donald Duck for your engine advice, who can you trust? I wish that I could afford those Goodyear tires, or an Auto Lite Battery, but I'm on a budget. This is the during the Depression, you know! Let's keep going.
Hmmm... 14 cents for gas. That's kinda pricey, let's drive a little bit more and see if we can find it cheaper!
